No thoughts here on WUWA, but since the show has been on TWC for 3 years, that means it's doing well, and therefore it's there to stay and nothing can be done about it If the show did poorly, it probably wouldn't be on the air anymore today. I am not saying this is either a good thing or a bad thing, I'm just a messenger. That's just how TV business works nowadays 

I don't agree with this. I think Al is an exception to the rule. It's not like WUWA is the only thing to his name on TWC, he's helped produced a lot of the documentaries/reality programming on the network. I think that's enough reason to keep him around also regardless if the show is doing good or not.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that    CGA was one of the shows that Al produced. I don't remember what else he did 


I'm tired of playing the "IT'S ALL NBC'S FAULT!!!" blame game. No matter which program sounds ridiculous in any way, it's TWC's decision to air that show, not NBC's or ours. Simply arguing and/or protesting about it isn't gonna get them to change their minds

Even though Sandy is the top priority right now, there has not been one LF at all in 24 hours. That's gotta be the longest time no LF has aired due to extensive hurricane coverage and I'm assuming to going to continue for a while due to coverage of Sandy's aftermath 

EDIT: An LF has aired as of 8:28AM PT.

Talk about a fail, but my Charter headend has been airing their ads frequently at :08/:38 on TWC recently, right over the first half of the LFs. Either somebody's watch is 10 minutes fast or the headend is just desperate for money 

Plus, Charter has also been airing Comcast Spotlight ads

There was a tsunami advisory for southern Oregon and parts of northern California, but thankfully never for where I live in southern Washington otherwise I would have heard the sirens go off here in Long Beach and then would have headed for higher ground 

Last night's quake was nothing. Wait until the Cascadia 9.0 strikes

Don't worry, I'll be ready for that one    After all, I do happen to live in a tsunami-ready community

There was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake near Masset, Canada    which might have the potential to produce a tsunami. I need to keep a close watch of the activity going on up there 

EDIT #1: According to this link the threat of a tsunami appears to be minimal at this point, so it looks like the Washington coast is in the clear so far
