More showers are in the forecast for tomorrow. Sunday looks to be a "sun" day      but the high temperature will be a chilly 49º

Another item I'm going to address here for improvement in our forum is something more personal:  I've been rather concerned about how some of you have viewed me lately.  It seems like when I ask requests or demands from a moderator point of view or when I try to interact with others that it feels like there's a disconnect as if I'm doing something wrong.  I've already slipped a hint in the Game Room about my feelings here, and I'm becoming rather worried about how people view me and the actions I do.

So, in addition to making our forum better with some suggestions above, I personally want to know how I can be a better moderator and friend to you all.  If you all have some ideas, please feel free to either share them or PM them to me.  These can also be suggestions for our entire moderation and administration team, too.  It's been a rough year here based on all the complaints over the months, and I'm trying to make things better for everyone.

No worries Patrick. Some of us still appreciate all of the hard work you try to do as a mod. Keep up the good work

I've been wondering since there is already Coast Guard Alaska and Coast Guard Florida would Coast Guard New England make a good show?

Yep, then all we need left is Coast Guard Washington and we're good to go 

I really dont see that happening if TWC kept up with its promise to keep a lot of the longform weather-related

I was just joking    I don't actually really care for the long-form shows anyway

Where is everyone going for thanksgiving? i'm going to spend it home with my family.

Staying here in Long Beach with my girlfriend    It'll be our first independent Thanksgiving together. We live too far away from any of our relatives and we are also short on money to be driving 300 miles away to see them

As of today, all long-form shows have the LDL on throughout whole show segments instead of just at :08, :28, :38, etc. Not sure if this a new change or it's just a temporary thing for this week only.

Is NBC not doing the November "Green is Universal" week this year?    Usually it happens right around the second full week of November but I'm assuming NBC isn't doing a November GIS week this year since the NBC-owned networks haven't changed their logo colors to green.

51º Light Rain/Windy

Nearby Astoria is currently under a flood watch, a high wind warning, a high watch, and just now, a high surf advisory. Here in Long Beach we're just under the first two advisories.

Tomorrow will be worse than what occurred today -- very heavy rainfall of up to 2 inches or more and sustained winds up to 50 MPH with gusts up to 70 MPH

Just wondering, has anyone else here had trouble with someone trying to hack their account? I ask because I just got 4 or 5 messages from TWCT/C within the last 10 minutes saying that someone is trying to change my password. Is Felipe still making trouble? Or does our little village have a new idiot these days? 

I checked my Gmail inbox and I got the 5 messages you were talking about. I always wonder, don't the hackers have better things to do than to go and hack other people's accounts?
