I heard "If I Could" by Phish play at :08 during the second half of the LF (the first half was silent) so I'm pretty sure the EF cued during this LF, but I did not see the feed.

There was a magnitude 8.0 earthquake in the southwest Pacific just about an hour ago    So far so good where I am as far any tsunami advisories go, but I'll have to keep a close eye on the developing situation should any watch or warning be issued for the west coast of the US    but all in all things look okay for now 


UPDATE: No Pacific-wide tsunami is expected according to the PTWC:

Now all I have to do is wait for the big 9.0 Cascadia quake to strike then I'll be in big trouble

Despite the half-hour delay due to the power outage of the S-Dome at the start of the third quarter, I'd say this was a pretty good game IMO    but I'm a little bit disappointed at the 49ers for losing

With the 24 + hour live storm coverage and the storms being severe it might be time to switch to instrumental music.
Just my opinion, the pop and rock songs just don't fit with the coverage.

With all this severe weather going on would it seem the extended coverage might continue until Saturday?

and i wish they would put the Emergency Playlist on instead of the same bland vocals since December.

Same here.

IMO TWC should have just switched to all instrumentals during the coverage of the severe weather, like they did with Isaac and Sandy. Vocal music, to me, is just not appropriate during coverage of potentially life-threatening weather events such as the hurricanes or the recent severe weather outbreak.
