Not recording in HD, I made it HD in Sony Vegas. I also used a compressor that didn't alter the quality...it took about 8 minutes to upload.

EDIT: It was a super-dooper late cue on my IntelliStar's end. It got all of the way to the SE Forecast before it cued!

« on: July 13, 2011, 02:23:41 PM »Comcast Weatherscans had their logos changed around here this morning to the Xfinity logo. Looks kind of bad in all red in my opinion. Would look better in white like the Comcast logo.
It looks horrible!
I wonder when they will change it to say "Weatherscan is brought to you by TWC and XFINITY" instead of Comcast...OT: I also think that the new XFINITY logo on the Station ID...it's on the verge of covering the channel number.

EF-3 tornado rip through my town on February 5, 2008, missing my home by about a half of a mile.
I live in Southaven....very scary stuff! I saw the tornado.
I attached some photos of the damage, as well as a map showing where the pictures were taken and where my home was at the time.

« on: July 12, 2011, 09:45:42 AM »I've watched TWC since pretty much it's inception. I don't mind some of the news segments in the middle of a program, but it no longer interests me to watch regularly because they DO NOT cover weather anymore.
I live in Alabama near the tornado ravaged area and we have very severe storms ALOT. They don't even mention it most of the time and when they do, it's so hurried it's unwatchable. It seems like they're going for the glamour girl look and not the weather reporting that put them on the map.
They let the very good meteorologists go in favor of the babe types and I don't like it, so I don't watch. JMHO
I'll agree. Another thing is the '60 Second Forecast'. While it's a good idea, I feel like my forecast is rushed....normally they say nothing about Memphis or they say something like "Memphis coming in at 100", before they have to hurry on to the next city.
Oh, and another thing. During the LWU, they always say "Well, while you're watching Twist of Fate, we're watching a Tornado Warning!"....like it's nothing.
