Maybe it only runs on this LF because it's around the hottest part of the day?Why would it be beta tested? It's been a product on the IS since (I'm pretty certain) it's inception. Although, I've personally never witnessed it ever appear on my IS (but I've seen plenty of videos of it).
EDIT: Looks like Mike already checked the 3:58 PM CT LF on his STAR, so that rules out the above theory. I hate to jump the gun here, but maybe it's being beta tested on a few STARs, since no one else is seeing it but me?
I'm just throwing theories out there...lets all check the 4:58 PM ET LF today, and we'll see if we see it.

There have been numerous reports about no ID being shown. Very common issue. Very common to see it get fixed. I don't know what you mean by "came back to life"....

Black screen/blip at around 2:31 PM ET for around 3 seconds, returning with no Satellite LDL.

On my system we don't have an IS2 and just get the national forecast on the 8's.
There was a problem with the system that generates the HD national forecast and displays the LDL.
When going to the national forecast and we get music and a black screen.
Shortly after we get switched to an SD video feed with weather forecasts and maps.
Am I correct that this is the system that is used if The Weather Channel goes off the air?

That's the ESF. 100% normal.
Is the Heat Safety Tips screen still in the IntelliStar's playlist? I haven't seen it at all since 2006 before the K flavors returned at :18/:48, and it's well above the 103° heat index that prompted the screen to show here.
Apparently you missed my post. I just saw it yesterday, but it was only on 1 LF and it was never seen again.

By doing a quick YouTube search of "Heat Safety Tips IntelliStar" I found that the last recorded HST screen was on August 1, 2006, on the Downtown Hanover IntelliStar. Now, some of you might have seen it in 2007 or later as you said, but this was the last recording of it that I could find on YouTube.

No, it's old I remember seeing it on the IS back in August 2007 during a heatwave here.
Was it discontinued for a while maybe? This is my first time seeing it.
