Wyatt, we have rules here against only posting in the Game Room. Sadly, if you are only here to post in the games, and don't participate in other parts of the forum, you will most likely be banned. :footinmouth:

Yesterday evening, we had quite the bow echo move through that was associated with the cold front.

Check out this report from yesterday evening at Memphis International. Temperature drops from 86 to 72 in one hour. Also, notice the highlighted report - "Squalls and Windy"...I've never seen that outside of a tropical system.

The largest power outage that I can think of in Memphis would be the Summer Storm of 2003, where most people (including me) were without power for 3 weeks. That's due to the 100+ MPH winds that the derecho brought forth.

TWC - Memphis IntelliStar - FULL DAY of CC Screen Observations!

I was home sick from school today, so I decided to record ALL of the day's LF's CC screens (with the exception of the 3:18 PM CT LF because my IS decided not to cue) and put them into this video. I was even lucky enough to catch a Tornado Warning scroll and a Wind Advisory scroll, courtesy of some of the outer bands of Isaac. Notice the "Showers in the Vicinity with Windy Conditions" CC report at 1:40!

Hernando, MS is now reporting Windy with Rain courtesy of the outermost bands of Isaac.

I'm about 3 miles North of Hernando, and all I am seeing is some sprinkles with very gusty winds.

What is up with TWC and their geography issues? First of all, one female OCM (not sure who) apparently called my state (Mississippi) a "Land Mass between New Orleans and Mobile". Many people have reported seeing this but no one was recording it.

Secondly, I've seen multiple (at least 3) graphics showing "Mobile Bay, MS. In case you didn't know, Mobile Bay is in Alabama. I understand if it was a typo the first time, but 2 more times! What a sorry GFX director.

Our XFINITY channel lineup just changed some...here's what I've noticed.

There are 2 sets of HD channels. We still have the original HD channels in the 800's, but now we have a second set of HD channels in the 1000's-1400's. For instance, TWC HD in the 800's is on 836, but in the 1000's, it's on 1111.

Our Music Choice channels are doing the same thing as the HD channels, there are 2 sets of them. One is in the 700's, the other in the 1400's.

MANY more HD channels have been added from 748-800, these same channels were spread out in the 1000s. A few examples of these new HD channels include, but are not limited to, VH1 HD, GSN TV, and QVC HD.

They've added WGN-TV Chicago in HD on Channel 802.

However, I can't find the AccuWeather channel that we are supposed to be getting sometime this summer

Double post...sorry, but this is worth it.

There are unconfirmed reports that some of our worst fears have come true...there are unconfirmed reports of a levee breach in Southern Louisiana.
