If you find which song it is, post it here! How you are describing it makes it sound like a good song

Well, this is a very interesting decision. Did TWC decide that sticking with weather-related long form is better than the movies?

Honestly, it doesn't matter very much since it doesn't help anyone get the weather information they need during severe weather; it seems like it's just a show to the media like, "Gee look, we heard you complaining about how our movies are barely related to weather, so we put up repeats of long form that we've shown a million times before, but it sure looks better for us since it's related to weather!"

 That's peculiar........

Local Forecast / Re: City by City side bar Info.
« on: June 03, 2010, 06:15:16 PM »
I hate it, especially since (I think) on weekends I notice it takes up MORE of my screen. Plus it's not helpful when you have a warning crawl ON TOP of the side bar so part of the conditions for your area are cut-off. I liked the blue side-bar better. It was more with their color scheme and NEVER took up anymore than the warning crawl.

Ummm......I'm confused......
1. This is a TWC HD LDA topic. Not SD. HD can't display warnings (yet).......
2. The sidebar is still blue.......
3. And there was NEVER a sidebar on SD.

TWC just told me that they that they rebooted my STAR. The skipping is much less often now. The rest of the skipping is on Comcast's end, I will have to give them a call if it is not fixed. I told them about Weatherscan and I guess they are gonna reboot that too. I'll try to record it.

The Weather Channel and weather.com
Thanks for your patience, Trevor...I will pass that additional information along to get this rectified for you!

@Martin: Ok  :happy:

It has been like this for over 3 hours. The main reason that I posted this because the TWC feed is running on what is supposed to be Weatherscan. (See picture above)

EDIT: The national LDL is still showing as of 9:45AM CT. And as I click "Save", the feed goes green, and then black, and then back to normal, but still skipping.

TWC on Channel 55 is skipping. (EX: It will freeze for 5-10 seconds and then the audio will skip, and then it will go back to normal for 2-3 seconds, and then it will repeat)

Weatherscan is simply playing TWC and it is doing the same thing.

The IntelliSTAR LDL is on and the IntelliSTAR cues, but it does the same.

Can you please re-boot the STAR and possibly Weatherscan?

Thanks, you guys are a big help!

STAR ID: 24745
Weatherscan ID: Unknown (sorry!)
Headend: Downtown Memphis
Provider: Comcast

EDIT: Also, I forgot to add that all of the other channels are fine, and I forgot to include my STAR ID  :bleh:

What if ALL IntelliSTAR's in one region broadcasted the same forecast? (EX: Northeast Forecast, Southeast Forecast, etc.)
