Right now, they are airing an old version of "Surviving The Elements: Hurricane". They are talking about what would happen if a Category 4 hit New Orleans. They are having to put a Lower Third saying "This show was completed before Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast." I find that hilarious.

« on: August 03, 2010, 04:27:58 PM »I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but I was watching a program on the History Channel today, and during a section of the program there was background music. This music sounded identical to the Tropical Update music, however it sounded like a longer cut. In the linked video (property TWCFreak), the part of the music I heard can be heard between the beginning of the video and the 5 second mark. Interesting, as I thought that this piece was made specifically for the Weather Channel, and this show originally aired in February '09.

Yep. A cord was hanging out of the socket, but was in the socket enough to get an electrical charge. Sadly, the outlet was behind a long curtain, which over time, cued a spark from the exposed prongs, starting a fire. Even more sadly, no one was home, and no one would be home for the next 3 hours, leaving the family dog to burn.

The reason I posted that is because last night, I posted in the "Last Thing You Bought Thread" that I bought an IntelliSTAR unit, and then posted that I confused that thread with "Lie Your Butt Off". I knew someone would ask me if I got confused again, so I just p--Trevor spills coke all over his PC
