is there anyway we can make a list of the cities that have received the IS2 in one topic?I know some of the cities, based on IS2 videos I've seen and posts in the IS2 discussion (there could be more).
i haven't had a chance to check out TWCHD in either San Angelo or San Antonio.
Here in San Angelo, I have Suddenlink...dunno if we'll ever get it. in San Antonio, I have time warner...based off of what I've read none of the time warner headends have upgraded yet, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
i'll definitely be checking in on TWCHD here in Angelo within the next couple of days (haven't gotten a chance to check since like last semester, lol).
I meant the squeezeback. I'm watching the SD feed (don't have HD), and the squeezeback resembles the HD LF.Also at :23, but not at :13.
It's weird how it has the HD LF.
Really? I don't have an IS2 here, so I can't tell about the HD feed. I happened to be watching the SD feed (so I could see the local forecasts - there's yet another winter storm coming), and there was no local information on - not even an LDL.
This is just a test. It will have local information overlayed when it is used starting January 31.
On both SD and HD feeds?
Will this split screen be used only for longform programming, as I heard about, or will it be used during weather programming, too?
And what about my thought that this might replace the separate local forecast segments altogether? Not in the short-term, probably, but this is something that I can see happening eventually. It seems to follow with the technology that's available now versus what was available in the past. This is similar to my post about why the 3-day extended forecasts existed on earlier Stars (and still do as a legacy on the XL), but have been abandoned on the IS.
Maybe they're testing something? That would be 11 minutes.
Do you think it's possible that this split screen could potentially replace the seperate local forecast altogether? After all, that's 12 minutes every hour with only the most limited of advertising.
6. Use the video wall again for weather.(fix the color though.)They got a new video wall, so that's fixed.
