Forgive me for asking this, but how do you tell when HiRAD is out? I have a feeling it was out on my IS yesterday.

If your CC screen uses an airport ob, if only the CC screen and no other CC products show, and if the LDL during programming has N/A cuurents but the LF LDL/CC screen had currents

All of the above happened, so HiRAD was out. The CC screen had MIDWAY INT'L ARPT.* as the obs. on the 6:28 PM or 6:38 LF yesterday--I don't remember which--and after that, Chicago had "No Data Available" on the programming LDL, but the other two cities were fine. By the next LF, it was back to normal.

*Normally, ARPT. does not show.

There have been various issues with the TWC logo and LDL lately:


This was at about 3 PM on Saturday. The logo stayed on during the commercials and the squeezeback. This happened again sometime in the afternoon yesterday.


Earlier today (sorry for the blurriness):

The city before this one had no temp on the LDL (didn't get pic)

…And the local LDL was out at 3 PM CT, with the reflective logo by itself.

Happy Earth Day, everybody! Who here managed to hug their favorite tree? 

I'm a tree lover. I wish I could go hug all the trees in my backyard, but it's down pouring right now, and I don't want to look weird.

That would not be a good idea, Craig.   I did plant a tree 18 years ago on this day, and it's still there according to my family in WV.

He's right. The tree could bite.

I noticed The Weather Channel been on for almost 30 years. Are they planning any specials? I haven't seen any news.

I heard they MIGHT have a special in May, considering the channel launched in May of 1982

I remember Eric Fisher said on FB that he did some interviews for it.

Coming home from school, I found that I now have Xfinity. This is the first time I've had it at my house in almost 4 years.

Your parents didnt tell you?! If we switched from DirecTV my parents would at least let me know the instant they ordered the new providers service

Yep, i had no idea till I came home. What still boggles is why they ordered an HD receiver, when it's not even hooked up to an HDTV.

"If I Could" and "Cliffs of Dover" are BY FAR the best songs out of those 9.

As for Daft Punk, I didn't mind their songs that played on TWC last year, but this one, I cannot handle...

Just be glad they're not playing their song Around the World…most repetitive song ever!
