Today's a half day, and I'll be having a 4-day weekend! I'm looking forward to it. Also, a good thing I've seen from the switch to standard time is that I don't feel so groggy when I wake up. Before the switch, I was waking up in the dark.

If I could vote, I would definitely pick Obama. 
A few weeks ago, I had thought that Romney's 47% comment had really hurt him in the race. I guess I'm eating crow now, judging by how close the race has been lately.

Just out of curiosity, why would you get Election Day off? It's not a holiday or anything.
We have election day off so teachers have time available to vote. Some teachers here have busy lives and don't have much time to vote. Now since my school district wants to make up days, we now have school on election day. Most public schools around the country have election day off from what I heard.
Actually, the reason school is closed on Election Day is because in most places the schools are used as voting places. Can't have school in session with people coming in and out of the building all day long!
