I clicked on the emoticon. As I said before, it came out as lgh.The smiley that laughs and bangs his fist doesn't work. When I post it, it comes out as lgh. I'll try to post it here.lghThat's not the code for that emoticon. It should be rofl2 with a colon before and after it. Keep in mind that you being on a Mac might be a factor here as most things are designed for PCs. You can always click on the graphical emoticons themselves and see the codes being shown when you preview your post.

Anyone besides me hate this forecast? The forecast calls for scattered thunderstorms on the 26th. I feel bad for you not having any rain. The forecast doesn't seem very lovely to me, either.

Its never going 2 rain again, and hasn't for 3 weeks!
Wouldn't it be impossible for a cable headend not to have a STAR? I heard that cable headends that carry TWC must have a STAR.Things have changed over the years then Today a headend with no STAR would simply see national stuff thrown at them but no cable ID display, no displays during the LF, etc will come up. Over at DirecTV and Dish Network they have modified IntelliSTAR units to display national information during the LF, display a cable ID, and push out text during those commercial retailer screens (i.e. the Honda generators screen)Hmm i just noticed but where did the fact of national STARs pushing out from TWC come from? I thought the only two national STARs were at DirecTVs/Dishs headends
Prior to the late 1980s (I believe 1987), viewers without a local WeatherStar, or with a malfunctioning unit, simply saw a black screen (or the briefly-used background animations) and heard the local forecast music whenever a local forecast was playing. In 1987, a primitive scrolling "Travel Cities Forecast" was used that eventually evolved into the same format used by the WeatherStar III and, when it was released, the WeatherStar 4000, including the switch from text-only to graphical forecasts. In the mid 1990s, this was changed when a series of maps (national and regional radars, satellites, and forecast maps, along with forecasts for selected cities) began, and this has changed several times since, though not in the past few years.

(Seriously, though, I don't mind at all.)

If I have a Porsche Cayenne, what does my dad have?
Yes because how else could you think of that. No, but there's a WeatherStar III.
Is there a weatherstar xl 3 counties west of me?
I just started wondering about this when I was heading home: can anyone tell me what's the price for iMac Snow Leopard OS? One of my buddies from Graphic Design class just bought a Mac with Snow Leopard, so I asked him about the price, and he didn't know. He heard that it's a lot cheaper than Windows.Snow Leopard is $29 for an upgrade from Leopard. If you're upgrading from Tiger, then you have to buy the Mac Box Set, which is $129, but it also includes iLife and iWork. I've heard that the Leopard upgrade will work with Tiger.
Also, (not sure if I mention this before) when I was at a Mexicali Pawn Shop on Sunday, I saw a used iMac in perfect condition. Layaway price is $50, but you can buy it in full at $500. I find that a really good price tbh.
You just refreshed our memories. I didn't remember that until you said. Thanks Patrick. They should just be glad they're getting out alive! They need to be very thankful. Not too long ago on April 6 of this year, 25 miners in WV didn't come out alive during a mine explosion. It should really tell you all how dangerous mining can be, but it's a way of life for some people.
I'm so happy for the miners and their families. I can't even fathom being in a dark mine for two months. I bet they've grown a lot as people after this experience--realizing the importance of love, family, and friends. I've been watching the coverage on TWC and the news all day. One thing that looks so unpleasant is that tiny cage they have to ride in to get out (I'm pretty claustrophobic), but the ultimate result of putting up with the claustrophobia is definitely worthwhile.I'm afraid of tight spaces also. The 17th miner was just rescued.
