That was the SD feed. The LDA is always on studio programming on TWC.

If it were TWC HD, wouldn't you have seen it in 16:9?

Ratings generally tend to depend on the time of day rather than the OCMs for the most part, I would say. YWT and WV get the best ratings because people tune in to TWC in the morning to catch their morning weather. PM Edition gets good ratings because that's when people are coming home from work and school and want to know the weather for the rest of the day, and the the former EE timeslot gets slightly decent ratings as people check in to get a glimpse at the next day's forecast. Abrams & Bettes will now get to enjoy their best chance at good ratings ever now that they're moving to YWT.

As I kind of suspected, since Jim is out of the studio so often, the new WC with Alexandra and Jim would need a third host to keep some regularity in the show so they don't have fill-ins all the time. Sure enough, Kevin Robinson announced on Twitter today that he is going to be that third host.

WTF...Jeff Morrow pulled a double shift today and did this morning's weather.com video forecasts as well. I guess TWC is shorthanded on a WEDNESDAY of all days, when the most OCMs are working out of all of the days of the week. Kim Perez, who would normally do that morning forecast, is still off. Todd and/or Samantha should have been available, but I'm assuming one of them is going to be filling in for Alexandra still tonight.

Bill Keneely is doing the evening weather.com forecasts for tonight.

I just looked at the Zap2It guide for Monday, June 22nd, and apparently Storm Stories will be airing at 8pm, 11pm, and 2am ET. I really hope this change isn't going to become permanent after Hurricane Week is over.

Feels weird that I won't see Jen live again until I'm back at college after she takes leave soon. I still wonder if she's gonna get shuffled to a new timeslot when she gets back. You never know given all of the other changes going on. :\

Wow, his style has gotten a lot better in the past year or so. In a recording I have of him from May 2008, he was a lot more serious and was never like Dave.

I agree. The majority of this change took place over the last 2-3 months after working a few 2-person shifts with Samantha Mohr and then with Alex Wallace; he was pretty funny during the 2-person shows. Especially after his shift with Alex Wallace, he started being funny during his solo shows. He's only been off the wall like Dave for the past month or so.

I don't know what suddenly set off the spark in him, but I hope he stays funny like this.

It's been Mike Sidel and that new Scott guy..maybe he still does Sundays (and I don't pay attention).

I'll check tomorrow.

Scott has only done the show twice over the past three weekends; it's been Alex Wallace every other day. I'm assuming it's just regular time off for Alex.

If anyone even watched the two hours of tornado programming and Al Roker today, how was it?  I wasn't able to see it, but I'm wondering if I even missed anything.
