Can someone explain to me why they used the 2007 First Day of Spring music for the first story in today's teaser: weather for the memorial of Michael Jackson. Of all times to use happy music on a DP teaser, that didn't seem like an appropriate time to use it.

Yeah, he does do the weekend evening forecasts for them; here's his forecast from last night:

Same thing happens for me now that I tested it out. SeaMonkey 1.1 (Gecko 1.8) doesn't have the issue, however.

OCMs & Personalities / Danielle Banks

Today, Danielle Banks from the TWC Radio Network is doing the weather.com morning forecasts. She doesn't have a bio on the Radio site, but a Google search indicates that she's been with them since at least 2004.

It seems having TWC Radio Network meteorologists doing the weather.com forecasts is now an everyday thing.

I think Kelly said Adam is off again tomorrow. Geeze, he hasn't been on more than two days in a row since leaving A&B WC three weeks ago.

Supposedly he's on the weekends. Not sure if that's the case or not.

and of course Max, you're the one who make a lot of these specialty designs like the YWT and PME clock and slash-orbs, respectively. :P

Thanks to Billy for the DP/WV wheel.

I forgot which one of you made the globe. >_>

What about a Sunrise Weather one? I know it's only a half hour a day on weekends but I'm just asking.

There are attempts going one to make it, but it's a little bit of a pain to get the lettering the desired way. We'll have the July 4th logo this weekend, so we still have another week to get one done. :P

I wish I had more knowledge about graphic design so I could do more than just giving ideas. :hmm:

I see TWC took the Al Roker link off of http://www.weather.com/tv/personalities/ since they didn't even have his bio or even a picture of him ready. I wonder when he'll pop back up on there again.

TWC just had a timing error. The :10 segment abruptly cut off at :14 without any awareness of the cut-off by the OCMs. The TWC ad aired at :15, and the LDA cut into that ad on the HD feed. The LF ran at :16, with the Planner starting at :18 and the segment ending at :21. They extended the Business Barometer segment at :23 by adding some forecasts after it to get back on track time-wise. (allowing the segment to run until :25, the normal out time for the segment)

From what I'm guessing, the maps were LED lights themselves, just like the map in the original A&B studio. Not sure how they burned out within only a few months of use, but it seems like they did indeed burn out since the right panel went out first, then the center panel only a few weeks later, and then several weeks later, the left panel finally went out.
