Make sure your modem isvented in some way-either positioned on its side, or if you sit it flat make sure you sit it on something like a desk or table and not the floor.My router is on the table, so that's not the problem.

Then another CD, kind of like a "best-of" type of deal with classic 80s and 90s music.That's a good idea. That way, people can get what they really want. If they prefer current music, they can get that CD. If they prefer classic music, they can get that CD.
