OK, under Group, check the "Write" box, and under World, check the "Write" box under there, as well. That should work.

In the commands menu I have no idea what command is, so its very possible that one of those could be what I'm looking for. Scroll right to see everything.OK, click the Properties menu (on the first menu that pops up when you right-click), and then post a screenshot of what you see.

In your FTP client, right-click the upload directory (which is called attachments) and then look for an option called "CHMOD" or "Permissions" or something similar depending on your FTP client. Once you get there, post a screenshot, and I'll tell you what to do next.

EDIT: I guess there's a problem with attachments then? I get an error that states "The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved."

« on: July 07, 2007, 06:28:26 PM »Well thats not gonna work. Uploading doesn't work for me for some reason. Anytime I try to upload a file to the forum its as if my connection times out. I don't know what to say Stephen.I clearly did not change the permissions, so it can't be the problem.Try going to your FTP, and CHMOD the upload directory to 777. If you do that, it should work.

I'm trying to upload a couple of new contributions to my contributions thread, however, when I try to upload them I get this error:
