Try to go to Microsoft.com and see if it works, I noticed there are certin sites that wont load on certin services..

Yeah, that works. But, the issue goes for EVERY site I visit.

You know what's weird? Occasionally, only certain sites seem to go down. I don't know why, though (it's not the servers since it's constant). It's weird.

Actually, I just noticed, that they have a package that is $25 a month for 3.0 Mbps!

That's roughly the speed I got with my old DSL. Not sure how much we payed for it, though.

Around 8 mb/s download speed, and 535 kb/s for upload speed. :w00t:

Well, it looks like the heart monitor WAS the culprit. My mom unplugged it, and so far the internet has been staying up.

The cordless phones could still be interfering too. As can TV's, microwaves, cell phones, and any other signal emitting device.

Well, it's not near any cordless phone, so that's not the problem.

My mom has a heart monitor near by, that sends in a reading via telephone wiring from a device in her chest (wireless). Since it's a wireless device, could it be possibly interfering with the router?

Good point. Like I said (for some reason unbeknownst to me) you rehashed a seemingly very old post, and I can't locate it, so I really don' know what that conversation was about.

I've noticed that my internet connection has been having some very minor downtime. What happens is I'll try to go to a site, it'll show up as a page can't be displayed, but if I refresh it comes back up. Compared to what happened with DSL, it's obviously not bad, but still I'd rather it not have any downtime at all.

I can't locate the post you quoted (because its old and after looking back about 6 pages I gave up!  ), but I believe what Gil was saying was that he had filters like you had, that were in essence splitters (had an outlet for phone, and one for DSL).

Why would he even think of hooking up a DSL filter to a cable modem? :crazy:

Splitters and filters are different. 

Oh. I thought you meant splitters because you quoted Gil's post that said:
