It's the control room that produces certain shows, such as PM Edition, Your Weather Today, Evening Edition, etc. It is capable of a lot more effects than the master control room is, and the graphic quality and audio quality is much better than master.

Master control, on the other hand, is less capable than full control. They produce the 1st hour of First Outlook, all hours of Weekend Outlook, all hours of Weather Center (except on Weekends), pre-recorded programming), etc. They don't have a lot of effects they can use, although in the past few years they've been using some full control effects, but not all.

Kyle would be able to explain better, though. ;)

At 6 PM CT, they played the 03-05 PM Edition Weekend opener, without voiceover and old TWC logo. :o This is a full controlled show, too, so it's VERY unusual.
