A question for Vista users: how do you disable the annoying UAC (User Account Control)? It gets annoying seeing that message pop up every time I try to do something.

My laptop arrived today. It's all set up now - in fact, I'm typing this message with it. It's a tad bit heavier than I expected, but still, it's VERY nice. Vista is just absolutely awesome, too. I haven't gotten to do much on this laptop yet, but still so far Vista is amazing. 8)

It's still not working.

Hold the alt key, and while you are holding it, type 0176. The degree symbol should pop up. If it doesn't, then obviously you are doing something wrong in my pants.

Huh? I did ALT-167 and the degree symbol shows up. I guess it depends on what computer and OS you use in my pants.

I tried the ALT-167 and it actually works, but it gives a slightly different symbol in my pants:

ALT-0176: °
ALT-167: º

One's smaller than the other in my pants.

Mine isn't. None of my classrooms have a/c or fan. Just the cafeteria and computer room!

That sucks. All of the classrooms at my school are A/C'd, but the AC units are rather old, but they work just fine.
