(I can't believe I just made that video)
I noticed that post counts drop when threads and posts get deleted. Is Simple Machines aware of this problem? It's not a problem, it's a feature.
That's odd. It usually requires more than simply power cycling (the tech term for unplugging and replugging your router) to cause it to pull a new IP address.Yeah, it never did that before when I had to power cycle the router.

Regardless, I'm not sure where you heard that you necessarily had a static IP. Though the name Gil does come to mind.I always thought my IP was static because it always stayed the same ever since I got Cable internet, until today.
Gil used that screen name back at TWC Classics. No he didn't.
He talked about using it, but he never did. That sounds a little more complicated and time consuimg then simply playing the file and recording the sound. It's not really complicated at all, it's pretty simple, actually.
So I take it it's a school computer then? That's a little different.Correct.
Sounds a little odd. I don't want anyone being able to watch what I'm doing whenever they feel like it. :shocked:I can understand the reason why. They don't want people to abuse the technology and just playing around on the computers, or going on sites like MySpace, etc. with a proxy (but it does happen anyway sometimes).![]()
Stephen, what does that binoculars icon on your Mac's menubar mean? That's Apple Remote Desktop. The technology coordinator can watch what we're doing (he doesn't watch all the time - we can click that binocular to find out) on the computer.
