Actually i photoshoped it
No you didn't. It's the EXACT same one as the one on TWC's Press site, only it's been resized (which the board automatically does, BTW). ;) So, don't go claiming someone else's work as your own. <_<

And if i were using the PC at the time would that mean R.I.P to me as well?
Either that or you'll get very serious injuries.

how and why?
Lighting can travel through wiring, and if it goes through the wire that your computer is plugged into, well, R.I.P to your PC.

I always leave my computer on during sever wx and never encountered problems
Well, once your computer becomes toast due to severe weather, you won't do that again. ;)

You said something about your PC not having electircla power
It did not have power last night because I unplugged it due to thunderstorms that were heading this way. ;)

And contrary to your belief, it COULD have something to do with the storms. I assume you use an ethernet cable and card to connect to the internet, and if that's the case lightning could very possibly have traveled through that and fried your PC. Yep, you don't need to have it plugged in to get it fried. I've dealt with many computers that were fried via the modem or ethernet connection.
Nope, it was hooked up to the internet via wireless. Also, that night I turned off the surge protector (after shutting the PC down safely, of course), and unplugged it from the wall, so the monitor which was still hooked up to the PC was NOT getting electrical power.

As far as the power supply, yes, that's actually what first came to mind, due to the symptoms it showed (the flickering power light), but I wasn't exactly sure.

My desktop computer suddenly decided to not come on this morning. And no, it doesn't have anything to do with the storms in our area last night, because I had it unplugged all night. Now, tihs morning, when I press the power button, nothing at all happens. But, what is now happening is the power light in front of the computer is blinking for a split second constantly, and the same thing is happening to the power light in the back of the machine. Anybody know what's wrong, and how to fix it? Thanks in advance. B)

No, he left TWCC for a while (he had his account deleted in the process), and eventually he did come back. ;)
