So where is Ana right now? There is a lot of rain just off the Southeast Coast of Florida...but she hasn't made it this far yet, has she?

Ana has dissipated... that's the remnant low of Ana. It has a low chance of reforming into a tropical system again in the next 48 hours.

Jim was on with Alex for WC but at 7:40 CT, Kevin is now on. Did Jim say where he was going...I had the volume muted at the end of the last segment.

Kevin hosts WC along with Jim and Alex. (although he doesn't get very many appearances on the show - he is the main fill in when Jim is out though)

It's a tropical storm..they are THE Hurricane Authority...i'm guessing that means they have to do continuous coverage until it makes landfall..which at this rate could be wednesday..

We're talking about Claudette... which formed near the Gulf Coast this morning.

I saw an L-bar when Jim Cantore was reporting, so they're stepping up the coverage.

More like FAIL-bar - when the L-Bar appeared the feed didn't squeeze back - in other words - the national L-Bar did not appear.

And they're actually stepping DOWN the coverage, apparently. This afternoon's long-form block was completely pre-empted, but yet they've decided to go with longform this evening with updates every so often.

Is PM Edition Weekend supposed to use the dark lower thirds that were once used for EE? I saw them in use yesterday and wondered if they were supposed to be that way or if it was an error.

The overnight edition of PM Edition Weekend is supposed to use the old EE lower thirds.
