General Discussion / Can't open PPT file in OO.o Impress
« on: February 17, 2008, 03:24:53 PM »i was never able to open the power point emulator. Stephen, can you PM me on how to open the emulator in OpenOffice Impress? I sent u a PM once but u refused to reply
I never recall receiving a PM from you.

If you can't ever get it to open in OO.o Impress, go to http://microsoftoffice.com and download a 60-day trial of Office 2007 (doesn't matter what edition), and you should be able to open the emulator.

There is an extra hour of Evening Edition tonight, and it's being hosted by Cheryl Lemke solo. However, the teasers still had voiceovers from Adam Berg and Kristina Abernathy (because it was pre-recorded).

Everything Else TWC / Re: Blooper Thread
« on: February 16, 2008, 07:22:04 PM »Sigh, yes Master can, they all come from a frame sync which can be frozen with ANY key. However, TWC doesn't seem to be using them anymore on master control for some reason.

So if we see show-specific Live tags (like those on PM Edition, EE, A&B, Weekend View), it means that show is full controlled?Yes. However, sometimes (I've seen this happen on PM Edition and Weekend View), they will use the normal LIVE tag on a full controlled show. And, First Outlook, Your Weather Today, Day Planner, and Weekend Now do not use their specific live tags anymore, even though they're full controlled shows (except for the 12 PM CT hour of Day Planner).

At 5:01 PM CT, they used an Evening Edition lower third. They noticed it quickly, though, as it disappeared after a second, and a few seconds later, used a PME lower third.
They're also using the normal LIVE tag tonight instead of the PM Edition one, even though it's being full controlled (master controlled PME Weekend never uses their own live tag for some reason).
