I honestly don't remember hearing this song air on TWC back in September!![]()

But that has nothing to do with the question Vic asked. It actually does. The sentence says, "IntelliStar will be used by TV program distributors nationally, including [...] DirecTV, [...]" I can understand where he got "DirectTV IntelliSTAR" from that sentence.

Where do you see that?
The Weather Channel's Intellistar is the next generation, geography-specific TV programming system and device. By relying on Wind River to develop the Thunderstorm PCI card -- the brains of the IntelliStar -- The Weather Channel leveraged Wind River's device software expertise and technology portfolio to architect, develop, deliver and field test the IntelliStar. IntelliStar will be used by TV program distributors nationally, including Cox Communications, Comcast Communications, DirecTV, Charter Cable, and National Cable Television Cooperative.
I have Shane's video, but it's in .flv format, and I have no idea how to convert it.
Are you talking about when they do that three-split box with a health map in the big window, and the other two windows show what's coming up next? That's done only during Day Planner, BTW.They also used to do that on Weather Center before the September 2006 schedule change.
I got "Sun Kiss" recorded!! Enjoy!also the narration comes during the lf. i dunno why

I did my homework. Go me!I had NO homework. Go me!

Was that one of the ones that reports the temperature and condition on the bottom line? Those are still in use, but they're used very rarely. I did see one at the top of the hour today and yesterday, though.Correct. Though I don't understand why they use the older lower thirds for that, because it looks like they could just use the current lower thirds to display the current observations.
