TWC Today News / Daylight Savings Time Now in Effect
« on: March 09, 2008, 10:49:10 AM »
As you may be aware of, DST took effect last night. With this change, it is necessary to set your clock offset in your user profile in order to see the correct time on the board. To do this...

Go to Profile -> Modify Profile -> Look and Layout Preferences -> Time Offset

Change the time offset number so that the board time will equal your local time. If you're not sure, hit the "auto detect" link. Save the settings, and the board time should now display correctly. :)

I have another question: Why does the time when posts were made go forward or backward? Is there a way to only make the current time change?
No, there is not a way to do that.

You'll have to manually change the time offset in your profile. This board doesn't do it automatically.

Steve, it takes 25 minutes to prepare a head?
No, if you follow the directions, it won't take that long to prepare a head.

how do get the heads premade? Croppng?
You can't. You have to manually edit them at JibJab. Or, if you prefer, you could use heads that were made public by other JibJab users.

stephen, how long does it take for a jib jab movie to complete?
10-15 minutes, that includes getting the heads cut out and ready for the movie. However, if you have all the heads made, then it only takes a couple of seconds and clicks. :)

Gil, if you can't constructively criticize, then don't bother commenting.

do i crop the images?
Just import any picture of a head, no matter how big or small. You edit out the head while at JibJab. It may sound difficult, but it's actually pretty easy to do.

Because they can't rely on their own brain for everything.

Why do they need scripts? Don't they know how to talk and think for themselves?
They only have scripts when they're at the anchor desks. When their at the chroma key, they don't have scripts.
