Thank you, Devon, I thought this was the case. My PC has only 512MB RAM so perhaps upgrading it 1GB RAM will solve the issue.
Actually, Virtual Memory is not the same thing is RAM. That error just means that Windows is increasing your Virtual Memory paging file, which is stored on your hard disk, it has nothing to do with the physical RAM in your PC. It's not VERY serious, although you should consider freeing system resources by not running programs you are not using (to avoid getting this message too often).

Can't say if that's true or not. All the people I've talked to in person don't like these changes either. I'd be interested in exactly who enjoys this.
Unless you've talked to everybody in the country, Tyler's point still applies. Believe it or not, there ARE people that enjoy TWC's programming, and ratings show that.

General Discussion / Re: Windows 7 questions

What do you mean by "clean install"? Like restoring the desktop then installing 7?

This seems like a difficult, pricey process. I have to purchase a ~$129 copy of Vista only to install a more expensive family pack version of 7 over it minutes later?
No. Clean install is erasing your hard disk (after backing up of course) and installing a fresh copy of the operating system. You do not have to have Vista to install Windows 7. It just needs to be compatible with your hardware. (which can be determined via the Upgrade Advisor)

To answer your first question more clearly, I don't believe you can upgrade straight from Windows XP to 7. That being said, even if it were possible, I'd still recommend a clean install, just be sure to back up your data first.

And yes, they do make a family pack of Windows 7.

.... and the WN theme on the opener at 1:00, and even bumper music after that :)
That music that played after the WN opener was part of the opening theme.

Wow, looking at that picture, I hate the look of Windows 7. Awful; way too much like Macs. Vista works fine for me
There actually aren't too many differences in the UI from Vista to 7, other than the taskbar and a few other things (like explorer windows), which actually make it easier to work with. I think you'll like 7 when you actually use it for yourself.

BTW: That dock at the top doesn't come with Windows 7. (if that was what you were referring to as it looking like a Mac)

Today's DP is a semi-fail show with dark blue lower thirds and the rarely seen light blue teaser graphics. (the ones that show three stories on the left side of the screen) Interesting.
You mean PME? DP was using the correct lower thirds (although it was still a semi-fail show).

The signature rotator should be working for all members now.

For some reason, I don't see the sig rotator option, anywhere. Do you mind providing a screenshot, Martin? :dunno:
Go to your Profile -> Forum Profile. It's right above the regular signature option.

I never knew Arizona's abbreviation changed to AR (and yes, I know for sure this is the Flagstaff in AZ)
That attachment isn't working...

I wouldn't really call Day Planner a fail show just because it uses the DP music now. It's just what the producer likes to do, and frankly I'm proud of his productions.
He's not calling it a half-fail show because of the DP music. He's calling it that because the production quality is rather lax than it used to be.

So, apparently Weather Center was shortened instead of extended like what they said on twitter....
Actually I believe it was still extended, I think WC was live up until 3 AM ET when FO began.
