Did anyone see what happened at the start of EE? They started about a minute early, and it apparently did not start as planned. It stayed at the black screen for several seconds, then went to an emergency Sat LF for about 30 seconds, and then the EE opener/teaser played.

On a related note, I notice these kinds of issues tend to arise when EE Weekend starts early (which happens most of the time).

You could try using DVD-RW's. With those, you can erase and reburn them 100+ times. They shouldn't cost much higher than non-erasable DVD's.

But like I said in my post, your burner has to be capable of burning DVD-RWs.

If you don't mind me asking, why do get severe weather in your area every week?

Not quite every week, but we do get thunderstorms (not always necessarily severe) often. They don't call Florida the lightning capital of the national (and yet they call it the sunshine state ) for no reason!

If I had a way to burn it to a DVD, capture it, and then erase it, I wouldn't have to wait until I had 5 videos.

Is your DVD burner a DVD-RW? If so, you could burn a DVD-RW (the blank DVD HAS to be a DVD-RW, though), which means you could erase it after you've finished.

No, on October 1st. It WAS supposed to launch in September, but due to hurricane trouble, they had to continue with Weekend Planner a couple of weeks until they could launch WV.
