I like the current version. It's a change from the blue theme that was around for years, which got old.

Great work with the graphics.  What did you use to get the 3D peacock, the chromed peacock and the multi-layered color spectrum?

Thanks! I used PowerPoint to make the 3D Peacock with the 3D feature
(*You have to have a font that has TV news logos. I found a font set on tvnewstalk.net somewhere a while back that has TV news logos. Not sure where though.)
Then I messed with the filter settings in photoshop. (Used the filter chrome effect.. located in Filter -> Sketch -> Chrome) and then messed around with the blending effects. (I used the overlay blend) and then put the layers on top of each other. (I put 4 layers of the chromed peacock on top of each other). The multi-colored spectrum was really hard. I used the round brush with 0% hardness and transformed it into somewhat of a line like beam and then colored and duplicated it with different colors. That was the most challenging part of making those graphics. If you anyone else need any more help.. just PM me!  B)

Awesome work, Robert.
There is a site I want you to check and I openly invited everyone here on TWC Today to check it out as well.

I have seen alot of great graphics and I think that you and others people might be a great fit on this site. Look for American Media Group on there. That is me.

Thanks for the comments! I'm already a member on ProTV, I'm Emerald Communications on there. It's nice to know someone on here that goes to ProTV! B)

What's with everyones youtube accounts getting suspended?
Who else got suspended? :club:
narunet, socool375, lightningbolt999...everyone of them uploaded TWC videos
This is getting really ridiculous..  I don't get it when big corporations like WMG have to act like 6 year old kids and go "He's copying me!!" and then flag your videos and get your account suspended.

If people want to kill themselves, I'm fine with that. But I'm not ok with endangering others' health because your too lazy to step outside.

Slow here today, no?
Agreed.
I live with my dad and step mom and they smoke like a choo choo train. They literally chain smoke around me and don't give a damn about and it ticks me off so much. I could get a smoker's tumer or lung cancer because of them smoking so much.  <_< Soon, I hope they make it completely illegal like pot.

Can your computer handle photoshop? I noticed you have Vista Basic which I only assumed was put on computers with low specs.

It's a pretty good laptop. It had no issues downloading any of the BIG IS goodies like the maps. I did try to run Photoshop as Admin to see if that will do the trick.

Vista Basic is missing a lot of key components, thus Photoshop, SlingPlayer 2.0, and other programs will not work. You should try Photoshop 7, or try to upgrade to Vista Home Premium, which should be a $79 upgrade.
Once I get a job, I might upgrade. I just don't have the money right now.

General Discussion / Explorer.exe crashes with Photoshop.
« on: February 08, 2009, 09:55:21 PM »
This happens every time I use Photoshop. I try to open a dialog box, like blending options for example or filter settings for another example, and then a message pops up saying explorer.exe crashed and needs to restart. Now this only happens intermittently, not all all the time, but it happens at least once when I use photoshop. I searched for a solution on google, but found nothing. Can anyone give me ideas on this issue? This is really getting on my nerves every time it happens. <_< I keep thinking my computer's going to die on me.

*Forgot to note that this is CS2, not CS3 on Windows Vista Home Basic.

Thanks in advanced!
