KPNX still has a running WX+ system, complete with commercials and local inserts, as well as national maps.

WX+ University was still around as it's for fulfilling FCC requirements.

Is this guy a sports fanatic? Each of the two times I saw him on the overnight EE he had sports as a big element. The first time, he hyped up a bowl game; the second, the goalpost knock-over in Buffalo was the first story on o/EE.

Last night, Adam Berg was on the overnight EE. There was a date on the HD wall screen in small print...Adam couldn't read it and said that "you have to be Superman to read that text!"

It's even hard for the viewers on SD to read it.

The other night on EEWC, Warren Madden said that Mt. Lemmon and all the other slopes in southwestern Arizona could receive snow.

But there's a catch:

It's inside the Coronado National Forest. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coronado_National_Forest)

Where is that red dot located: SOUTHEASTERN Arizona. Warren Madden slipped up.

• A 4000 Extended Forecast template.
• Concepts for Weather2, my idea for a TWC-powered Weather Plus replacement.
• III, text 4000, and Junior emulations. The observation site name is mine, because it sounds like something TWC would have put.

Edited to fix a hyphenation issue on the 4000 text emulation.

You know the cloud in the Mostly Sunny icon? I need it on its own with appropriate shadowing. I found the only XL example of AM Fog PM Clouds (the very end of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1quXw-SCECM) and need that cloud to make it.

Ah yes. For the last month or so they've been like that.

Funny thing is MSNBC did a weather segment yesterday (all TWC-branded and everything)...in the background was a screen with the Weather Plus logo, peeping out from behind.
