TWC is officially done and their credibility.  They can have their reality shows and AMHQ garbage. I stopped watching a long time ago but would tune in for the severe weather coverage like today.  Well today after 5 min I tuned out. The OCM had no idea the town the tornado warning was in but not even the state. And this has happened in the past but let it slide because I though well your mind is trying to get this info out and mistakes happen. Well I'm sorry but it is happening way too often. And it's about how people look on camera and not about the product. I can't even name these awful OCMs. I have to stop living in the past and realize TWC will never be the same and is a lost cause. But it's sad I can't watch what's going on in other parts of the country weather wise or severe weather. Locally I'll gune to my local news during a big storm.

Sorry if I'm not posting in the right area or this has been posted before. I'm new so don't hate me. I only recently got Verizon and the weatherscan. I will say that I like it and it has some old flavor with the new.  It was great hearing Tramell Starks "The only one for me".  I like this better then local on the 8's. The one change I would love to see is get rid of the female voice and give me Allan Jackson.  I also wish it was HD channel and not SD but hey it's a little taste of the past. Now if I could only tune in at night or Midnights to TWC when nothing else is on tv and watch some live OCMs doing weather scope tonight. Ahhh the good old days.

the thing is Twc had and still has I guess a fan base that wants to see a certain product. AMHQ with Sam is more like a "Today", or "GMA".  GMA has been a ratings winner and has been before and after Sam left. TWC  I guess thought that bringing him on board would bring new viewers and fix something that frankly wasn't broken.  Audiences of Today and GMA are not just going to switch to TWC just for Sam. Maybe a few will but not many. Weather fans want weather, if we wanted more we would switch to GMA or whatever.  Now TWC lost the few weather fans it had left. I know I can't watch anything on there anymore. And it's sad.

Hello everyone I'm new to the site and just want to say this is amazing. I'm a huge old school TWC fan and to me the best years were 1991-1995. I was a young teen and with all the storms that hit the northeast coast where I live TWC was always on. Twc was on as background most of the time. 
I'm here with a question. I would love to have the TWC intro heard here (the first one that plays but with out narration)http://youtu.be/1CX5GRbqo7Q I would like to use it on my phone. Is it possible someone has it and I can dl and save it?  I sure do miss the old TWC and the great music played on the Local on the 8's. Even just seeing weather.  Can't sleep nothing else on TWC was best bet. Shame. I really don't watch anymore and have t for years and finding this forum made me see that I was not alone. And thank you to Twcclassics.com I go back and be nostalgic anytime. Thanks for your help
