TWC = Terminate Workers' Contracts.  It's an easy equation if you ask me.  This is a vicious cycle: more longform translates to less need for OCMs due to fewer forecast segments.  Less OCMs on the other hand may cause the channel to add more longform.

Cloudy and 40 °F, according to what I see online, but it looks more like partly cloudy with blowing snow flurries to me.    Feels like 32°.  Winds NNW at 14 mph, gusting to 20.

The local supermarket is in Christmas mode now, so yesterday I heard...

"Jingle Bells" by Steve Glotzer (Holiday playlist) over the store's PA system.  Highly unusual (but highly pleasing  ) selection, and I don't think I would have so readily recognized it had I not been a TWC fan back in the day.
