the company changed its name to the Weather Co. from the Weather Channel late last year.

Does this by any chance explain why my DirecTV unit now uses WEA (rather than TWC as in times past) as the abbreviation for the channel?  I suspected something was up.  At least "weather" is still in the name, but it still makes me wonder what's coming next.

It's only 90 °F for me (in Texas) right now.  Of course, 90° shouldn't be preceded by "only," but it's technically below normal here.  Something's wrong when it's cooler in Texas than it is in parts of Canada.  We haven't been anywhere near the 30°'s for lows, though, so you still have us beat.  They say it's the "dog days of summer" now, though, so I don't think the heat's over.

Today's the first time this week I haven't had that ominous red warning message appear.  I'm glad the issue's resolved, because I was scared away from the site for the past few days.
