I've always had a lot of fun playing Mario games. SMW was enjoyable but challenging at times when it came to finding all of the secret exits. It certainly looks like you've done a good job recreating it, Tavores.

It seems like they make the changes no one wants rather than addressing the problems. Instead of fixing the music, cutting back on longform, and preserving their talent, they tweak the icons, graphics, and website.
I'm not saying that the graphics didn't need improvement. I like what I've seen of the new look so far. However, the graphics weren't one of my main complaints with TWC.

The new icons remind me a little of the WeatherSTAR-era icons in a way. I haven't noticed any changes in the way I access the weather data I like to look up on this site, so at least they didn't mess it up too badly IMHO.
EDIT: Never mind. I just realized they merged the "Mostly Sunny/Fair" icon with the "Partly Cloudy" icon and the "Isolated/Scattered Thunderstorm" icon with the "Thunderstorm" icon. So, the level of detail provided on the monthly weather data is compromised. This is unacceptable to me.

I'm sure advertisers would prefer to have their commercials playing without anything else on the screen to detract attention from them - emergency weather bulletins notwithstanding.
This of course is proof that TWC is trying so hard to be more like every other cable channel rather than being a unique, valuable place where viewers go for something different.
In any case, I'm on satellite and see no LDL on screen during the commercials. During the normal programming, a LDL showing weather info for select cities appears.

This has been a rather weak hurricane season if I do say so myself. I honestly didn't expect Karen to do too much (nor did I necessarily want it to do so). At least gas prices have been kept a little lower this year. In any case, the historical peak is over.

Not bad. 
I like that they've toned down the use of blue. The black and dark grey look more upscale IMO, and the red for severe weather continues to be a nice touch. The fonts look a little more modern IMO, and they provide a refreshing change.

Given the direction the channel's gone in the past few years, it always concerns me now when I hear of anything new they might be trying. On the flip side, there gets to be a point where up is the only direction left, so maybe this will be a good change. To be fair, I haven't seen the new graphics, so I'll have to wait and see if I like them.
