  Light Snow and 24 °F, with heavy snow in the vicinity.  Snowfall total is 1.1" so far.  Winds N at 7 mph.  A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.

I'm hearing Christmas Time Is Here by The Vince Guaraldi Trio right now on AccuRadio Smooth Jazz: Smooth Christmas Instrumentals.  I find that this little online station helps to fill the void left by TWC this time of year.

I heard Christmas Cannon by TSO on Sirius just now. I so miss that song.

That one is certainly one of my favorites. 

I wish some good old Vince Guaraldi could play on the LFs once again.  Hearing these selections in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" last night made me realize how much I miss them.

It's showing up on my DirecTV.  The LF (although in a national form) even has "Joy to the World" playing.  Just imagine, instrumental Christmas music on a local forecast.  I'll be keeping an eye on this one.  If they don't do longform, then it may be the only weather network that I watch on weekends.

Sam on TWC?  Wow!  I would say this is a desperation move on TWC's part, but if it works...    I suppose I'll have to watch in January to check out how Kait does on TWC.  I'm sure she'll be interesting. 

If Sam gets his own show, what will happen to the other popular meteorologist with his own show?

Hmm, interesting, Comcast became Time Warner in Dallas a few years ago.

Oh, so they're the ones who dropped CBS in Dallas (as Time Warner).  I knew it had to come back to Comcast.

Cloudy and 17 °F.  Feels like 4 ­°F.  Winds SSW at 12 mph.  It's supposed to get into the 40's today ahead of the next cold front which will bring the single digits back tonight.
