TWC Classics News / Re: Post 2000 playlists
« on: January 28, 2011, 02:22:30 PM »
Ehh, even though Alex did a wonderful job maintaining the playlist page, there is no search feature and navigating through the templates on TWCT just to find one song is a PIA. Your TWCC page had a search feature to look through the songs and playlists, it had CD information which made the page look more complete and in depth, and you attached a PDF file of the playlist, which confirmed any playlist errors. If you really are going to take it down, how about we integrate those features into the TWCT playlist files? I don't have the time anymore to update the playlist page but I'm sure Martin or Alex could add a search feature, the CD titles and your attachments of the playlist screenshots onto that page, that way it's the most complete and up-to-date.
That is something i am working on. If Matt is willing to contribute any information that we can integrate we would be more than happy to add it

Your conflicting yourself in the same post. Nobody said the entire Comcast network was not compatible with the IS2. Just certain headends

Sorry for my bad grammar skills  :P

I was trying to say that might've been the reason (my opinion)
Lol its cool it just made my head spin for a minute :P From what i heard its just on a headend to headend basis regardless of company.

There's a big difference between using a few quotes here and there, and patching speeches together; making it sound like your own. Of course most liked it. It was all warm and fuzzy. He said a lot of things that sounded good. The 9% probably saw it more like an episode of Family Guy. :P

Family Guy - Undecided Voters

Loved that episode

Okay... is there at least any guarantee that there will be a nationwide rollout of IS2, or is it likely, or at least possible, that some headends will simply never get one (or be able to use one, thus precluding getting one)?

Simply from his statement earlier it's a Headend to Headend Basis, so think of it as those areas who really need one would get one (if there are no obstacles blocking that installment) in which Comcast's Cable Network is from to my knowledge "Incompatible with the IS2 at this time" which halts a Installation on any Comcast HD headend altogether for the present time.

We are working with Comcast to find a technical solution to some compatibility issues we have with their network.  Hoping to have it resolved sometime in the first half of 2011.  Nothing right away however.  Sorry.

Some other good news is Providence, RI Cox Added the IS2 today right when TWC HD launched 12/15/10 on their systems across RI
The IS2 isn't compatible with some newer headend upgrades. I suppose its ok to say that now that the above statement was made. Mostly it appears to only effect large head end

Yea, I'm curious as to how a computer with a 4800 series Radeon can't run Railworks.....I have a 3800 series and a quadcore with 8 GB of RAM and I run Crysis at 1024x768 at 40 fps.....
Yeah, that was what was making me want to return it.(I got the 1GB Card so I wouldn't have any problems using dual or triple display). Now windows reinstalled and everything is working smoothly, just gotta add in some more RAM.
More RAM wont make that much of a difference. Certainly for what you are using anyway
Oh, well for having several applications open at once it will help there, but not really in overall performance. I have the Intel H57 chip, which is upgradeable to Core i5 and i7 I believe, so maybe in the future I'll do that. At this point It was kind a budget workstation system.
Open the task manager and see what amount of RAM you have. Is it DDR2 or DDR3 RAM?

Hey its all good. We all have different opinions and views but in the end we can still cooperate and bond with common interests. It would be boring if we all though the same way! :P

If schools would just cut unnecessary programs I think they would find a lot more funds. There is a lot of waste in my former public school system

Because it's all they got to go on. Healthcare is being rejected by the public, unemployment is at 9.6% and the list goes on.
Just gonna throw this out there... unemployment may be at 9.6%, but the Obama administration created more jobs last year than Bush did in his 8 year term.
If thats true then props to him! I will admit the economy is recovering slowly.I don't disagree with Obama all the time but I don't think he is the greatest thing ever. People get worked up over politics too much.

Right on.
That was necessary?

What will Boehner do besides cry?  :cry3:
I don't understand why liberals are so obsessed with this. Yes, he cries. So what? I mean, if Obama's only fault was that he cried every now and then, then I'd be pretty happy with him.
Because it's all they got to go on. Healthcare is being rejected by the public, unemployment is at 9.6% and the list goes on. The only thing the dems can go on are personal attacks and blaming Bush. It is rather funny and predictable.

And let me ask this. Why is it now the republicans who have to step up to the plate? Does that means the democrats failed? The Senate and President is still controlled by democrats so I wouldn't worry about much of anything happening for the next two years. For the record I am just as much pissed off at republicans as democrats.

Oh my bad, that was rude. The computer just doesn't do the job. It has a Core i3 3.07(dual core-4MB Cache) 4GB (1333Mhz) and 250GB 7500RPM Hard Drive and Windows 7 Pro 64bit. I have a 3 Year Basic warranty. I just want to return it and later purchase a better computer. I just wanted to know if it is a difficult process to return it and if I can do that.
How exactly does it not "do the job?" Also, since you've opened it and everything, they may charge a restocking fee. It's not a difficult process to do so if you know what you're doing.
When I play some games it doesn't get that great of performance. I have a 1GB ATI Graphics card i think its 4400 or 4800. Also for some reason, multitasking slows it way down. When I ordered it the specs looked like they could do a good job, but I was disappointed.
They will likely charge a 15% restocking fee and you will have to pay to ship it back. Your problem is the i3 processor. Thats the base of the line. What kind of games are you trying to play anyway?

I'm sure it'll be like last year. Good for nothing more than a few laughs. He'll take credit for the hard work of others, blame Bush for his failures, and (more or less) say "screw you" to those who disagree with him.

Tsk, tsk. So President Obama is supposed to praise Bush for putting us in the deep doo-doo we were in, and still struggling to get out of?  <_< He hasn't even talked about Bush in ages. President Obama has gotten through most of his plans in two years, in spite of a venomous, toxic, uncompromising right, and an very feebly supportive left. And he will continue to do so. BTW, the republicans have to step up to the plate now. What plans to they have besides trying to repealing everything that has do to with President Obama?  :dunno:
lol ok

But anyway we shall see Obama do what he does best tomorrow night.... talking. He will say some pretty things about working together and compromise and the usual folks will praise it.
