The election has nothing to do with it.

Really? I hardly think that permanent tax cuts for the rich is going to be good for this economy. All it would do is wipe out the entire middle class, but hey, no one cares about us anyway.

Politics has EVERYTHING to do with economy.

Wrongo. These economic problems were caused by corrupt businesspeople. I propose that nothing should be done, and any financial company that's going to fail should be allowed to do just that. We taxpayers aren't here to bail out the corrupt.

Curious question... any reason why the XL didn't get the new weather icons? Not that I like the new icons, because I still don't after almost 2 years...

I would guess the hardware wouldn't support it. Or (more likely) TWC wanted to keep large differences between the XL and IS to encourage cable companies to upgrade their units.

I know there is going to be an appeal. The jury had no African Americans on it and Simpson is going to try and use that to his advantage. I hope if there is an appeal he remains guilty.

Thought I would post an update on the project...

BIG changes are on the way! Before the emulator relied on a server to compile the radar and sat. maps. This took a lot of server resources and thus we had to limit use because we couldn't have a lot of people using it. Here are some major changes that are in the works

• Clear PNG Icons (no more poor quality GIF icons)
• High Resolution Radar Images
• High Resolution Satellite Images
• Upgrades to the Season Packages
• Upgrades to the Aviation Package
• Improved "Smooth Transitions" On Packages
• Local Traffic Map
• Local Incidents/Construction/Traffic
• User Generated Radar/Sat Maps- Eliminating the Map Server

This is a big update and we are looking forward to getting it out to the public.  A full public version of the emulator may be comming sooner than you think. No exact dates as of yet but without the map server we can allow many more people to participate in this exciting project!!
