Not sure if you got my IM from earlier, but the key you sent me still doesn't work (and I tried using User, MikeM2010, and Trial as the username). Any ideas? Everyone else seems to be getting on fine, so it can't be something wrong with the server.

You did do the update right? If not make sure you download the new setup from the link at the first post of this topic

Oh, I need to manual upgrade to make it run correctly? I didn't do that. I'll try that when I get to my PC tomorrow night and let you know if that works.

No no you need to download the linked setup file in this topic. The original version is out of date and wont work anymore

Yes, I have this issue. I've set my EF and BF to Orlando, FL for now until this issue can get fixed.

For some odd reason, Orange County doesn't work for me.

After getting a chance to use the emulator, its a great piece of work! But, there are somethings that I think could help to make the emulator near perfect.

1. Make all of your own graphics For example, some screens are screenshots from the actual XL itself, while this has integrity from the actual one, it also makes the quality a bit lower since the screenshot isn't from the machine itself. The Aviation screens, traffic screens look perfect because you made them yourself.

2. About the fonts.. what is rendering the fonts? Sometimes they look blurry and jagged and I just wondered why that happens.

Other than that the thing is great!

I think the fonts are 1 size too big. That will be changed AFAIK

Awesome.... one more thing I forgot to add: The ability to move it. I don't like it sitting in the middle of my screen all the time

I guess that could be done but i dont think there is a huge priority to do it at the moment. The 4000 cant be moved either

And the problem was a user error. Make sure your Boating and Extended forecast ARE FOR WATER AREAS NOT LAND.

Instruction are given in the config. Read the carefully

The logo is stored here:
C:\Program Files\Weatherstar\Weatherscan\main

and is labled sponsorlogo.png If you do not want to make/use a different logo than the comcast one just rename the comcast logo (also located in the directory) to sponsorlogo.png

  I could not have said it better myself. Also if there is a problem with the program, it makes sense to post it on the forums so everyone can see and learn about it. As for setup i have made topics covering the basic of it. This emulator is not that much difficult than the 4000 regarding setup. Over the days im working as fast as I can to get more tutorials and helpful post up.

Or it could be programmed like the Istar - if only one report is present, and it's too long, it allows it to take up a full page.
