Just throwing this out there: Might be a good idea to do away with the Hardware fingerprint thing. People reformat and stuff, and it's kind of a hassle (I assume) for you.

Well in fact we plan to revamp that a bit. It will be worked into the config server so that there will no longer be a need to wait for us to issue a key.

No, because it'll be dead before Christmas is actually here.

We get are tree around this time of the year and keep it on our porch in water and its lush when we bring it in closer to christmas.

Anyways I plan to get a couple of deals later in the day but im not going to get into the madness in the morning

Animated weather icons would be nice.

I think the emulator should make me mixed drinks. Now that would be nice. 

 

Im sorry snowy, animated icons for the XL do not exist in a format that can be used by the emulaor.

The difference is that I've been extremely proactive since day one in getting the word out. Matt, on the other hand, depended entirely on TWCMB for all his members, and has done very little proactively to bring in members. It's my belief that you can't sit back and wait for things to fall in your lap. You have to work for it.

But yea I agree. TWCT has gotten its name out there

OK. I see now, because you need online configs for the fact that you need a STAR ID to operate the emulator.

Err yea. I think you get what im saying Its another little way to have some control over users.

Also I should mention Brian is working on a way to have keys generated in the online config so it will be much easier.

Also if you look at TWCC which was created in 05 you will see they only have around 414 members. Do some simple math and thats about 138 members a year give or take. I think its amazing TWCT has grown so much in such a short time

Would it be OK to configure this emulator like the WeatherStar 4000 Emulator?

Im afraid that wont happen but if you dont mind me asking why would you want that? I think its a good idea to have the web based config so you dont have to recreate your settings each time.
