Hmm, according to that model, I'm in the six inch range. 

GFS has been fairly good at predicting storms and it has had the least changes these past few days. I would take any model with a grain of salt but all the models seem to be lining up recently

Local meteorologist and the NWS are staying stingy on predictions after the many false alarms this year in my area.

January we had Winter Storm warnings that closed every area school and we got nothing. Not even a flurry. Winter weather advisory was posted another time with nothing.

As of the latest run EURO is cutting out some of the dry air coming in from the west.

Through the day the models have shifted a little east and there also seems to be the threat of dry air entering into the Richmond, VA area but from all accounts it looks that they will get a decent amount before that happens.

NAM and GFS are painting a nice picture. The 00nz runs shows much more snow for my area than earlier. TWC predictions earlier seems ridiculous but now seem to fit in just nice.


The latest models also indicate it will strengthen and stay closer to the coast meaning more snow

I'm guessing "relaunch" is the latest term being wildly tossed around, when in fact it is not a relaunch.
