You have a good point!Shame TWC doesn't team up with colleges, schools, and private business like weatherbug does for example. It would provide a lot more reporting locations. Granted they may not be reliable but the IS could easily switch to a backup when one of these were down.I've seen some of the WeatherBug stations, and many of them are dreadful in terms of accuracy and reliability. If they were to be shown on the LF, I'd have someone pick out a handful for each region to check out their quality and deem them worthy of being reported.
The ones on wunderground are pretty accurate. I like that site more.Yes Wunderground has a great network of personal weather stations. Its the place I stream my station to
Today is TWC's 27th birthday.Would be nice if they didI wonder if they'll even mention it on the air today.
You guys just don't seem to get, no matter how hard we drill it into your thick skulls, that WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THIS VIRUS AND ARE LEARNING EACH DAY. Its great that they think its not as potent as once thought, but until now WE DIDN'T KNOW THAT.Its not that I don't agree with you.. The virus is a threat since we dont know much about it. I'm just irritated over how the information is being told to the public
now they're saying that this flu "may be less potent than expected."

Influenza is a virus, not a disease.
As to whether they will cure it, that could spark a whole other debate.
please do fill us in on your knowledge...what is YOUR definition of a "disease"?
Well, here's the dictionary definition:
