Can someone help me find an old clip that aired over the past year or so on TWC? It was this really cool 3D animation showing damage from different EF tornados. I believe it was a graphic of a house. Sound familiar to anyone? Apparently it took over 2 days to render the entire piece!

Looks like our city and the GADOT is going to be a lot more prepared for this upcoming winter (I alluded to this one one of my last fanart pictures) They bought 40 additional snowplows and 24 Salt/Sand trucks. They don't want a repeat of January again where most of us were stuck inside for an entire week.

* I know noone here has said this, but to make it clear, the several inches of snow wasn't the problem, they actually do a pretty decent job with that, it was the very thick layer of ice that accumulated on top of the snow. When I tried to measure the snow in my frontyard I had to use the ruler to beat on the ice so I could get down to it.

Snow actually is much easier to drive on. Hopefully those trucks help but in cases like that my area doesn't even bother with side roads/residential areas. Too much of a risk to get trucks into areas with lots of on street parking. Guess the best they can do is work on the main roads.

This will be my last day on TWCT for a while. I don't feel completely welcome here, nor in the TWC community anymore. If you want or need to talk to me, PM me and I'll answer, but otherwise - I won't be posting until likely after the new year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Sorry to hear you feel that way :(

Who all went out to Black Friday today? I went to WalMart and the local Exchange. Here is a video I took at the exchange. Kinda hard to tell anything, but I really wasn't supposed to record anything (I was concealing the camera). Any troubles you have?
I decided to try it this year for fun. Went to Best Buy at midnight and picked up a 250gb Xbox 360 for $180 and a $100 iTunes card for $80. Then I went over to Target for some things for the house on sale. Next was Bed Bath and Beyond for some good deals on K-cups. At 4am I went over to Sears for some deals on power tools. At 5am I made runs to The Home Depot, Lowes, Macy's and Rite Aid. Got me a nice leather coat from Macys for $99 marked down from $550.

I ended up getting home around 9am and slept the rest of the day :P One thing I will say is that the majority of the people I chatted with were extremely nice. Glad I didn't run into any crazies.

Trying to go to Black Friday deals is like going on a suicide mission. People literally lose what remaining ounce of their minds they have left over things they could easily get online (sometimes better exclusive deals). Just like that lady I heard pepper sprayed 20 people including children in a Los Angeles Walmart and someone in NC shooting at a mall there. Sheesh, it's not that freakin' serious or necessary.
Walmarts are insane. I avoid them any day of the year!

I was looking through the local newspaper today, and I think I found an ideal summer job for me. Either I work for q local deli on campus for minimum wage, or I work for the TSA at the airport for double that.
Wow! Good to hear you were able to find listings for jobs you might be interested in :) Hope you get the one you want. What intertests you in the TSA if you don't mind me asking?

Thanks, Martin.  I hope you saw my PM as there's only one small internal issue to fix as a result of my actions.  You'll have to take care of it as I cannot access the files for this site.
Yep I'll get on that. Long as the issue isn't visible its not too much a problem. Still best to fix it before we upgrade since it gets messy sometimes
