I guess they figured since they have the duo of Norcross and Knabb for Hurricane Season and Forbes for Severe Weather, why not finally get someone to be Kocin's replacement after I don't know what 8 years now? :dunno:
Kocin really is the king of winter weather. It's going to be really hard to find a replacement that comes close.

Local Forecast / Re: Just received Trammell's LF CDs...
« on: January 06, 2012, 11:39:21 PM »
THANK YOU for buying them! Some moron posted all of the songs in their entirety on Youtube. Please if you are interested in these songs buy them and support the artist.
I know, I've been wanting to bring it to Trammell's attention, but I'm afraid if I do that YT will delete all the LF clips of his songs too :hmm:
At the very least YT could automatically credit him when his work is included in a video. Sorta like what they do with other artists. It's just so annoying having his entire albums up there like that. It's nice to see that there is enough requests for his work that he is releasing a new album!! Can't wait for it

Wow... the long, and tedious path known as the JOB SEARCH has started for me a couple of days ago. I am VERY UNLIKELY that I'll find an IT job here in EC. I applied to a few in San Diego, and a couple in Phoenix (my parents approved my decision of moving to Phoenix, AZ... FINALLY. lol) My friend told me before that employers are more likely to hire a female IT technician because some companies want to balance the gender ratio, sooo let's see how this plays out!

Haha well I was trying for something a little more official :P Might change it back... i keep forgetting who I am!

Sorry! You gotta wait three months!

* Anistorm runs
No job for you! :P Just kidding good luck with your search :) Keeping my fingers crossed for ya!

Just got back from New York City yesterday. It was super exciting to see the ball drop from Times Square. It's nice to be back home though!

Hope you had fun, Mr. TWCToday.  Guess it was time for a display-name change. :P

Thanks for the birthday wishes guys!

I haven't been around lately because I haven't watched TWC in about two years. The current state of TWC just doesn't do anything for me. :(

General Discussion / Re: The Debt Ceiling Deadline
« on: December 29, 2011, 12:33:38 AM »
What's the alternative?  End all spending altogether?  Close all municipal fire departments and staff them only with volunteers?  Close all the public schools and force parents to pay for private schooling?  End Social Security and Medicare payments?  Stop importing oil?  Nuke the rest of the world and take their resources?

One has to think rationally.  It is going to cost money to cut the debt.  And, besides, this isn't Obama's debt.  When George W. Bush took office, the U.S. had the biggest budget surplus in history.  Bush put that to an end right quick, and the debt's been growing ever since.  Bill Clinton may have had a sleazy personal life, but at least he knew how to balance budgets.
Whats the alternative?? Spend less! The federal government doesn't deal with fire departments. Not sure where that is coming from. Its up to local counties/cities. Turn the education systems back to the states. Social security and medicare are flawed concepts but since its obvious they aren't going away I suppose reform them.

One has to think rationally.  It is going to cost money to cut the debt.

Not trying to argue but really? That doesn't make sense!

Well the NWS' forecast was way off. I knew before the storm that they should have issued a high wind warning as for we had sustained winds of 45mph with gusts to 59mph. Certainly enough to call on the high wind warning.
I was looking at some of the reports up there. What station was that?
