Im loosing hope with this system. My new hope is that it moves away from the next disturbance which is further south than the first system. This also looks promising

That may be the system being picked up by the GFS in today's runs.
I was thinking that too!

Looks like Al's Debut only hit 8 million viewers

the info is in the press release.
ONLY 8million?!! Thats a hell of a lot more than what they were getting. Sheesh im a little surprised its that high.
"First Outlook,” the current weekday 6 a.m. show, drew 185,000 to 228,000 viewers last week."

"More Adults 25-54 Wake Up with Al!* than any other morning cable news program!"
That I find a bit hard to believe. If they hold onto that, ill be surprised.   I wonder how they count this. Are they saying a lot of people actually watch WUWA for more than say 10min?

I use Windows 7 RC every time on my netbook (dual-boot with XP) and have noticed zero issues.  Zero.  Very stable and very easy to use.  Like I said earlier, I plan to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium with the "family pack" ($149, three licenses) and upgrade my working tower, my netbook, and eventually my DVR system that I will build soon.
That DVR system sounds cool!

Windows 7 will be my next operating system as I didn't jump to Vista after hearing so much trouble about it.  I want to wait another year though to let the bugs get cleared out on 7 and save up money for a new laptop.  Furthermore, my 4-year-old laptop with XP is doing fine right now, so I really don't need to upgrade yet.
Id only wait a month or so if your worried about bugs on 7. Its been a very stable system from what I have seen.
That's good to hear, Martin.  I want to get settled with a new Meteorology job and have a stable income first so that I have enough money to buy my next laptop with 7.
Oh definitely!!  I wish you all the best with that too!! :)

Wonder who will be off tomorrow. Heather said this on Twitter

" Thanks so much. I'll see you tomorrow when I fill in on YWT."

I'm not really crazy about the idea of Windows 7. To me, Microsoft is like TWC, changing things and coming out with new versions a bit too quickly. I remember in 2007 how hard it was for me to switch to Vista, when I bought my first brand new computer in August. I have become accustomed to Vista, I would say. I've heard from a friend in the E.L. that he had a lot of trouble with Windows 7. He couldn't get his tuner to work at all. I just don't think all that stress is worth it, and like I said, VIsta works just fine for me now
Windows 7 is built ontop of Vista. You wont need to worry about complications with drivers, ect. again. If it works on Vista it should work fine on 7. Windows had to have these changes IMO if it wants to compete with other OS's out there.

I really think 99L will be our first named system of the Atlantic. Conditions look very favorable.

I am happy with the current icons. They are more realistic and look fine. The XL icon had their time. :footinmouth:
