Actually I like the simplicity, and think one of the reasons the current set sucked is because they were too detailed and looked horrible when scaled down. That is another reason the classic icons were so good. The new ones look like they'll scale better.Only problem I thought the icons had were the mix precip ones

At one point cable companies get their signal via satelliteWhy would it make a difference with Comcast?It's because I thought that the information was sent to the STARs via cable to cable companies and via satellite to satellite providers. However, I didn't realize that it's only done by satellite. It's my mistake, Martin. I'm still lost as to how everything works and can only piece together ideas from what everyone has taught me so far.From what I can tell its definitely a problem with the input data/video not the unit itself
I wasn't sure if satellite transmissions were involved as Aaron has Comcast, but Martin just mentioned that it does matter with receiving the STAR data. Thus, this issue is going to occur close to every equinox (spring and autumn).Why would it make a difference with Comcast?

sorry that I haven't been around as much...college is gettin rough, and filling out job applications at the same time make it even tougher. lol i'm currently applying to be a Program Assistant and Resident Assistant at Angelo State for the fall while working on multiple papers, essays, and projects...yeah, fun stuff. lol

YesI am sure you all guessed it but we can now say it officially "new LDLs will be launched March 11th" So that is why a LAT48s is so critical for this day

I work for Ritter Communications and we use the 4000 which services Marked Tree, AR Blytheville, AR and most neighboring rural communities. We have seen no degradation on our 4000.Thanks for the update Greg and for visiting our forums!
