I really prefer to keep our logo one line. Still waiting to see what Tyler has. We are going to put something up after the merge and from there we will see how to tweak/update it

How is it difficult? It's a PNG file just like the current forum logos are...
Well if we did change it I feel it wouldn't match the rest of the forum.

Actually I just really quickly threw that up there. More of a proof of concept then actual example. I like the concept but I am not sure... For now its temporary to show our support with the Easter logo ;)

New K Flavor!

Awesome New IntelliStar Flavor: 4/2/10

Too redundant on the regional conditions imo

It seems to me like this is TWC's way of "forcing" the new graphics on the legacy STARs (the XL, at least). They know that the XL is much too old and outdated to receive any sort of graphics updates, so they just remove the presence of the LDL. I strongly disagree with the XL LDL being turned off, and it will never cease to amaze me how ignorant TWC is... I know a lot of people who are lucky enough to see the XL have complained.

Actually is quite capable of doing most of the things the IS can do. Brian has done a nice job making an ldl
Willow Grove Weatherstar XL - April Fool's Day - 4/1/2010

Mike has a point. But if the warning crawls are going, wouldn't the National LDL still be visible?
Yep, that's what I call a fail. You only see part of it. :P

What do you mean? You always will see the ldl behind the scroll if its the big one. When a warning scroll is created it overlaps the ldl. Since they used to be the same size you didn't see it.

Very useful for my area which is a traffic nightmare everyday
I can imagine, I've been stuck on several occasions while I drove through Newport News and Hampton Roads. Stop and go til I got close to our exit. :P
Like that everyday. It sucks we rely soo much on bridges and tunnels.

Here's my logo concept (TWCT logo courtesy of Jesse). Thoughts?

/edit: oops, didn't realize the resolution was so huge  :blushing:
Unfortunately the different color gradients are difficult if not impossible to implement with the forum software. However I wonder if we could use a separate TWCC logo in the area where the powered by simple machines thing was. Interesting idea

Not to mention I'm buying a brand new lawn mower this week.
I am thinking of purchasing one of those electric lawnmowers. I am EXTREMELY lazy when it comes to cutting the grass. Heck I don't even do it now. I think it would be neat to try one and see how the technology has improved. Thank goodness Roomba can clean my room :P

I know this is very unlikely to happen ever, but if there's both a record low and a record high reached on the same day, would the IntelliStar show both record screens?
I strongly doubt it. The record screen has a low priority as it is. I don't think its configured to show two

I have no idea where to put this.

During tonight's Office repeat, NBC ran a Home Depot Weekend Weather bit...complete with an apparently regional 10 second forecast by Alex (and the new HD pillarbars).  I have it capped and will get it up sometime.
Thats a new one!
