Well they did it at noon. It didn't seem as active as I would have thoughtMike and Forbes did a live chat today on weather.comHow was that chat? I didn't see it. I bet they had a lot to talk about after an unbelievable day.
For some reason, after searching through files for about 5 minutes or so, IE automatically closes out of the site and gives an error message saying something like "This webpage was closed due to the site trying to run a malicious software add-on " or something like that.Probably some random fragment file in there thats trippin a red flag for IE![]()

Does anyone else get this?I would still like to browse through all the archives on the site, but maybe TWC is preventing us from doing so.
It's the displayed URL and I know for a fact it has to be my firewall. It usually is like that. First make sure your selected port is properly port forwarded then find out your IP address and your good to go. regardless of what the software says
Well it's nice to see that the Vortex 2 team finally encountered their first tornado of 2010. I hope they don't get into any danger though..Don't worry they will be safe
I don't see why it's that important to simultaneously send and receive files anyway for what you use the concept for.
I agree. For basic web functionality its pointless. Wireless routers only shine when used on a local network. The speed of your upload/download is dependent on your internet provider. In my case I have several weather, storage, and slave servers that shoot files and data around my network and I regularly stream HD video and tv shows.
Without a doubt, I should be investing into a WinTV HD PVR soon!
Also, Martin, when I try to stream media, I get a URL error in WME.
What we have to worry about are the less intelligent folks or those who don't get the warnings. Pointless loss of lifeRight. The Vortex2 team would never put themselves in harm's way. They're all trained meteorologists who know and realize the potential dangers and how to keep themselves safe in a dangerous situation.i hope mike bettes doesnt dieuh Hes not going to die. He and the rest of the Vortex2 folks are perfectly safe.

You know, I thought getting a dual-band router would be neat. I should be able to send and receive files simultaneously. Problem is, it doesn't work! I haven't been able to upload anything since I bought it.Do you seriously think thats what a dual band router means? Dual band means it supports dual frequencies including the newer 5ghz band. This will only work with devices that are specially adapted to accept that. On ANY wifi band A/B/G/N you can send files both ways. In fact you can send hundreds of transfers both ways at the same time. Dual band routers should only be bought if you have devices capable of using it.
No Seidel caught a small tornado earlier today on tapeMike Seidel just caught a tornado in Braman, OK!Do you mean Mike Bettes? I don't think Seidel is a part of this...
Storm PicsI think a strong EF2 or 3
Can you estimate the EF Damage?
I'm thinking EF4

We're starting to see a very serious situation developing. Very intense damage to lots of buildings. Scenes of several semis and cars overturned, several homes and businesses without roofs on them.Starting? Have you been watching TWC and the feed?
