Local Forecast / Re: New Intellistar version?
« on: May 22, 2010, 02:04:15 PM »
well it's been nearly 3 years since the v3 update. The v3 was launched after the 2005 v2 update
Just because its been X years doesn't mean they are going to update it. The Intellistar1 probably saw its last major update with the ldl changes.
But I thought the IS was going to have a graphics change last year or this spring?
It did. The LDL was  the graphics change

Are there plans for a new intellistar version to be launched seeing now that the LDL, and icons were updated and the launch of the HD Star soon?
I think I can safely say there will be no significant software updates to the current hardware version of the Intellistar anytime soon if ever

Thanks for the congratulations everyone :)
I'll be picking out my new apartment from Saturday into Wednesday in Blacksburg, so I won't be around the forum during this time.  My schedule is going to be wacky in terms of my time here on the forum until I complete the move and settle into my new job, so please send any forum issues or concerns to Martin.  See you all later next week! B)
Good for you. Glad you are already moving!

I have similar manuals. Digital copies are online anyway so I see no need to repost them or at least bother with watermarking the images.

What a coincidence TWC decided not to show the movie tonight

Welcome to the forums! Nice work

2545
With the loss of DISH, TWC could loose 1/6th of its viewers. Quite a big chunk

2546
It's interesting, if it ends up coming more west, I might get showers out of it. We could really use the rain, it hasn't been that wet this Spring, in fact I can already tell La Nina is going to make a comeback unfortunately.  :(
Yea it looks like the models are trending towards La Nino.

2547
Nothing official on TWC staying yet but we shall see
