Two more weeks till my Spring Semester is over, and my freedom is somewhat limited. My posts and my availability will be sporadic.

Whew! My powerpoint and project for AP European History bumped me up to an A in that class! I am not happy with it :) Btw Office 2010 rocks!

Are you sure you're posting in the right thread? You're not happy that you got an A?  :blink: :P
Typo :P Not should be now lol. Yay! Glad you are done in 2 weeks :)

Hurricane Central / Remnants of Agatha Cross Into The Gulf

Agathas remains have entered the gulf and remain somewhat organized. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/flt/t1/flash-vis.html

Looks like it might have a brief time to develop but there is decent amounts of shear that will probably tear it apart. Models have it drifting up around the FL area so perhaps some rain for those folks.

Programming and Graphics / Re: "Flick > Forecast"
« on: May 31, 2010, 02:07:25 AM »
I never liked "Flick and a Forecast". I just wish The Weather Channel would actually report the weather continously like they used to instead of playing the same episodes of Storm Stories and When Weather Changed History hours a day.

I'm being optimistic, but if this hurricane season turns out to be anything close to active as 2005 or 2004 like I believe it will be, we might see a lot of that put on the back burner. I'm hoping we'll get that side of TWC back, they were always at their best doing hurricane coverage.
I am ready for a storm alert!

Thanks everyone!!! :thrilled: :biggrin: I'm glad you like it. :D
Very patriotic. I like all of the various scenes. Makes you reflect on the fallen soldiers and those who gave their lives for this great country.

* Anistorm is lost.  :unsure:

* Anistorm is moving on.

I've never thought that my final graphic design project would be so dang hard. I emailed my partner and so far, no reply. She's probably on vacay. I got a website going. So far I'm working on the animated GIF.

I could really use a break right now.  :itsok: The best part is that I still have plenty of time to get 50% of it done by wednesday.
Just the usual Ana ;) Wow I hope you knock it out soon and get some rest! What are you using to make your gifs?

I am using Photoshop for the GIFs, like the ones I showed off earlier (the Pokemon one & the dancing stick figure one). It's really not that hard. Most of it I have to do it on Illustrator and I hate Illustrator with a passion.  :wacko:
Ohh ok! I might actually have a question regarding gifs that I have been meaning to figure out. Ill have to ask you sometime ;)

Nicole is such a busy person I can't see her settling down for a while
She'll be even more busy come the time of tropical waves. :hmm:
Its amazing she juggles a full time job, armed service duties and used to go to school at the same time.

I would ask that you please do not make multiple topic on these issues. You already mentioned these issues in your first topic. We want to keep things as organized and simple for the STAR Team as possible. Thanks!
