Lol, we should! My conclusion is the monetary value is based on how much stuff is on it, how much space it takes up, connection speed, the host, and the ads.

Welp, I seem to get higher daytime high readings in downtown Springfield then the Weather Channel forecasted for Springfield, Vermont. O_O

This makes me suspect that The Weather Channel gets the temp reading from miles out of town! 

I often get the same current temp readings on my thermometer as Lebanon, New Hampshire on TWC.

But it seems common to get lower-high readings when I pull up "05156" on weather.com!

It's likely 86 F, across from the town hall, lol.

I would still expect the nights to cool down, because I'm not in a tropical climate
(usually at least in this formula= high -> - 21 F)  Thus, this would mean if 92 F in the afternoon, the low would be 71 F, if not cooler, which the following is more typical of Vermont: In this example: high: 92 F low: 59 F. -->IIRC, that's called the diurnal variation

Temps are displayed via HiRad which estimates the temperature based on NWS obs points. Its not exact

Heh, this is pretty interesting. This is just a rough estimate, nothing official. But according to http://directory.sootle.com/website-worth/, TWC Today is worth $905.00. Heck, I just might buy this site from you guys. 

Haha I guess it looks at hits from public sources and assumes maximum ad revenue. Time to start sticking ads everywhere

Jesse is exactly right. We changed the area to make it less cluttered, and more uniform. You will only be able to enter one ID, and that's it. If you post in the tech support area, just make sure to indicate the ID number you are talking about.

Correct. One star in the profile field is quite sufficient

I know this isn't a popular option, but I'm one of few users who see two Intellistar units pretty much daily. Could you make it so that I can enter in both channel numbers I see it on and both IDs (either like I have had it (meaning I enter two things in one line), or through two fields)?

Also, I'm sure many of us who have TWC in both SD and HD will have both the Intellistar and the HD STAR, so maybe for the future, we could be able to select two options instead of just one?

From your house you have 1 STAR like everyone else. The HD STAR is part of the Intellistar family and posting the HD ID would clearly indicate you have the Intellistar2

Yep. Anyone can get it really. I didn't realize they just made you enter your zip and select a college. Also got the iPod touch for 100 bucks with a rebate later. You can get one for free if you want the 2nd generation.

Yup that's exactly what I plan on doing. Hey, since they're so overly-priced, I'd like to save as much money as possible. 

Macs are outrageous. However i need a really strong and portable computer that will get banged up everywhere I go. Normally I would stay away but Apple does make a damn good laptop form. Shame they charge highway robbery for it

Good choice! I would def get the Matte screen. I did a lot of research and comparing in the store with it. Def worth it
