Looking through all these grades, I'll say this: I can HARDLY wait for you folks to hit college (especially if you are going into meteorology or engineering). You'll be all suave going into the exam room, thinking about Friday night and hooking up with a few beers and ladies, and then Monday BOOM, you get a D on the Calc II Midterm. Worth 20% of the grade. And then you go home crying to the elders.I imagine this year is going to be a rude awakening! Great job on your classes!
I'll say this: I wish I could get the grades I did in High School again. You'll realize after about 2 years of higher education that high school teachers were SERIOUSLY doorknobs when it came to teaching his/her subjects.
Argh....not Memphis....I am not sure what gave you that idea. Select markets were picked and the community here will be monitored for feedback. They aren't placing the beta sites based on our location
I thought it would have been placed in locations that have TWC Fans, so we could give them feedback and stuff.
I was very surprised at the loss of him. I imagine there was a lot of politics with the decision.ratings and $$$Dr. Steve Lyons was popular. He had his own promos, and was well-respected by many viewers.
I've never seen a TWC ad on YouTube before.I never see ads anymore since my browser filters them but I would assume it sees the content you are viewing is weather related or your past history has included weather topics so it showed it. Ads are becoming a lot more personal these days
This was on edbassmaster's channel.
Right now, I am enjoying a good thunderstorm at my house.Enjoy![]()
Overall I like it a lot and the ldl is stunning. I would like to hear the narrations as well. Its certainly a big step in the right direction!I am underwhelmed.I have to agree. I think that there could have been more work put into it. I mean, I like that it has an animated background, but I think there could be more details. Just my opinion
EDIT: I think I just need to see this in person. It just looks so dark - and feels more like a fan recreation that something official.
Oh, so I won't be seeing the ISTAR 2 in Memphis for another 2-3 months...?Probably more than that. I would say 2-3 months before we first see it in non beta form but thats just a 100% pure guess. Probably much longer until non major metros get it.
So, is this nationwide yet?It will be in beta in 2 or 3 cities for a few months probably. After that it will be up to TWC who gets it first
If not, will it become nationwide sometime tomorrow for the biggest cities first? Ex: Atlanta>Los Angeles>Las Vegas>Memphis. Or will it go East to West? Ex: Atlanta>Memphis>Las Vegas>Los Angeles?
